Atalanta are reportedly in talks to offer star man Ademola Lookman a vastly improved contract to keep him at the Gewiss Stadium until 2027.
Lookman is expected to be a hot commodity when the transfer window opens, and Atalanta are eager to improve his terms, especially after his blistering start to the season.
According to Bergamo & Sports Luciano Rota, the club are offering a wage package of around €3.5m a year.
Lookman was linked with a move to PSG in the summer and even agreed personal terms with the French side, but both clubs could not agree on a transfer fee.
The French champions are expected to return, as well as other big European sides next summer following his impressive start to the 2024/25 campaign.
The Nigerian finished 14th in the 2024 Ballon d’Or and is a strong contender to win CAF Men’s Player of the Year.
Lookman, who joined Atalanta from Bundesliga club RB Leipzig in 2022, has two years remaining on his contract.
