This is what we like to see.
When Championship side Barnsley were teasing the arrival of new signing Herbie Kane, there was only one way to go.
The club took influence from the world of WWE, channelling their new arrival’s masked namesake and posting the Big Red Machine’s entrance video with a bunch of fire emojis.
Naturally, fans loved seeing Kane get his due, and just 15 minutes later the Barnsley social media team revealed the transfer.
Presumably doing their best Jim Ross impression, they shared a photo of the former Liverpool player and added: ‘It’s Kane!’
Talking to the club’s official website, Chief Executive Officer Dane Murphy, said: ‘Herbie is a fantastic player and we are delighted to have him here at Oakwell.
‘He has had an excellent education with Liverpool, working under one of the finest managers in world football, and has shown that he has the quality to compete at this level.’
This comes just a few weeks after Leicester City used a similar tactic to announce a new arrival, coincidentally getting wrestler Kane’s on-screen brother The Undertaker in on the action.
For their Cenzig Ünder deal, the Foxes recreated one of the Dead Man’s most memorable WrestleMania moments at King Power Stadium with a hat and trench coat places in the middle of the pitch.
It didn’t take long for people to put two and two together, and just half an hour later Brendan Rodgers’ side confirmed they had signed the Roma star on loan for the current season.
For wrestling fans, it was an obvious nod to the Phenom, who placed his trademark outfit in the middle of the ring after his match against Roman Reigns at WrestleM
Sharing coffin and fox emojis, he paraphrased his own iconic catchphrase and quipped: ‘Digging holes and scoring goals… @LCFC (sic)’
Let’s get the Brothers of Destruction tearing down defences next season, please!
