The 23-year-old joined Chelsea this summer in a £45 million deal from Leicester City but has only made one appearance so far due to injury.
Chilwell came on as a second-half substitute in the 6-0 win over Barnsley in the Carabao Cup last Wednesday, but he has not yet made his Premier League debut for Chelsea.
The left-back could now make his second appearance in the competition this Tuesday as Tottenham host Chelsea in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.
And the England international looks in top form judging by his latest training ground clip as he lashed a left-footed volley into the top corner.
Lampard has confirmed Chilwell is in his squad for Chelsea’s match on Tuesday evening, while goalkeeper Edouard Mendy could be in line to make his debut after completing his transfer from Rennes last week.
‘Mendy and Chilwell are in the squad for tomorrow,’ the Chelsea manager said on Monday.
‘They’re fit and we will see whether they start or not.
‘Ziyech and Pulisic are not far away. They are still in their recovery stage so it’s too early for them both.’
