The Super Eagles of Nigeria have landed in Uyo from Kigali after the victory over Rwanda on Friday evening.
The team and its officials left the Kigali International Airport on Saturday morning en route to Uyo via a Value Jet chartered flight.
Super Eagles defender Calvin Bassey shared pictures of the team’s arrival at the Victor Attah International Airport on his Snapchat story in a post he tagged as “Motherland 🇳🇬”
The players and officials will head to their hotel to rest in preparation for the first training session ahead of Tuesday’s clash against the Brave Warriors of Zimbabwe.
Zimbabwe arrived Lagos on Saturday afternoon as well and will connect a flight to Uyo later today ahead of the fixture.
The Super Eagles are looking to wrap up the March window of the qualifiers with another win as they get their qualification for the 2026 World Cup back on track.
