Burnley host Tottenham on Monday night in the Premier League with the Clarets still looking for their first win of the campaign.

Sean Dyche’s side have had a dreadful start to the season, losing their first three matches and only picking up their first point with a turgid goalless draw against West Brom last week.

However, despite their poor form, a win or a draw on Monday would see them climb out of the relegation zone, given the similarly woeful starts made by Fulham, Sheffield United and the Baggies.

Spurs are looking to bounce back after they tossed away a three-goal lead against West Ham last weekend, leading 3-0 and only drawing the game.

Victory would see Jose Mourinho’s men jump from 11th to fifth in the table.

What time is Burnley vs Tottenham?

The match kicks-off at 8pm on Monday 26 October at Turf Moor.

Burnley vs Tottenham team news

Burnley are going to be without Phil Bardsley due to a positive Covid-19 test, while Ben Mee, Jack Cork and Bailey Peacock-Farrell are all out.

Matthew Lowton and Erik Pieters are doubts with knee and calf problems respectively, but face late fitness tests.

Spurs are in pretty good shape, injury-wise, with just Eric Dier a doubt with a thigh problem, but could still feature, although Japhet Tanganga remains out.
