The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Moroccan officials for the second leg African Nations Championship qualifier between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and Black Galaxies of Ghana.
Hamza El Fariq will officiate as the center referee and he will be assisted by Abdessamad Abertoune, Zakaria Bouchtaoui and Hicham Temsamani to serve as assistant 1, assistant 2 and fourth official respectively.
The Moroccan contingents are expected to arrive Nigeria today ahead of the match which is billed for the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium on Saturday, 28 December.
Miboti Moose from the Democratic Republic of Congo will serve as the referee accessor while Prince Kai Saquee is the appointed match commissioner.
The first leg of the qualifier in Accra ended goalless and both sides will look to give everything on the pitch to secure the ticket for next year’s competition.
The winner after 90 minutes or penalties will secure the ticket for the competition next year.
Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania will host the 8th edition of the African Nations Championship between February 1 and 28, 2025.
