Chelsea centre-back Antonio Rudiger has held talks with Paris Saint-Germain boss Thomas Tuchel over a move, according to reports in France.
The 27-year-old has not made an appearance for Frank Lampard’s side this season and Chelsea are willing to offload him before the end of the window.
West Ham have expressed an interest in signing Rudiger on loan, while Tottenham are also reportedly considering a move with Jose Mourinho keen to recruit a new central defender.
However, RMC Sport reports that Tuchel is pushing for PSG to sign Rudiger and the pair have even spoken to each other on several occasions over the last few weeks.
The report claims that Chelsea would prefer to sell Rudiger but PSG are only interested in signing him on loan for the remainder of the campaign.
When asked last week about a potential move for Rudiger, Tuchel replied: ‘I can only say that the club knows my opinion.
‘They know my analysis and that of my staff. I wait. The transfer window is not over.
‘The situation is not easy, but we still have a little bit of time.’
‘And I wouldn’t assume Antonio or any players in the squad [are leaving].’
Chelsea signed Rudiger in a £33.3 million deal from Roma in 2017.
