Since leaving the club last December, Emery has revealed he wanted bring in Zaha ahead of £72million record signing Nicolas Pepe in the summer of 2019.
Pepe has struggled to live up to expectations following his mega-money move from Lille and subsequently fallen down the pecking under Arteta.
Meanwhile, Zaha has continued to shine for Palace and already found the back of the net five times in the Premier League this season.
The Ivory Coast international has previously admitted that it was ‘amazing’ to hear of Arsenal’s interest in his last summer.
And speaking exclusively on the new Target Men Podcast, Gunners legend Seaman advised his former side, who have scored just 10 league goals this campaign, to sign the 28-year-old,
‘I think Zaha would be a good addition to Arsenal because he’s a proven goal-scorer,’ Seaman said.
‘I don’t know the reason why it hasn’t happened as he obviously wants to come.
‘Whether it’s the agents and clubs not agreeing certain things, that must be the reason, but he’s made it clear that he wants to come as he’s an Arsenal fan.
‘He would be a good addition to the squad, no doubt at all.’
They face Rapid Vienna next in the Europa League on Thursday, before their big Premier League clash against bitter rivals Tottenham this weekend.
