Arsenal fans are taking transfer matters into their own hands after one supporter tapped up the agency representing Norwich City midfielder Emiliano Buendia.
Earlier this month, reports claimed that the Gunners have added the 23-year-old to their shortlist ahead of the January transfer window.
Buendia impressed for Norwich City in the Premier League last season, despite the club’s relegation, and Arsenal fans consider the Argentine as a possible solution to their creative problems in midfield.
And it appears Twenty Two Sports Management, who represent Buendia, are also hoping a move to Arsenal is on the cards following their response to a Gunners fan.
After receiving a message from an Arsenal supporter who asked for Buendia to make the switch to north London, Twenty Two Sports Management responded with a praying hands emoji.
Arsenal, however, may have a tougher task in their negotiations with Norwich as the Championship club are reportedly seeking £25 million for Buendia.
Speaking last month, Buendia made it clear that he is keen to return to the Premier League.
‘I always say that I want to play at the best level,’ the midfielder said.
‘I think the best league is the Premier League. I am one step back from the Premier League so obviously I want to play there as soon as possible.’
‘No comment from our side. I had this for three months,’ he said last week.
‘I will probably have to speak every day in January about these things. So I am not going to add to speculation in this period.’
