Mikel Arteta’s side currently sit 10th in the Premier League and have little hope of securing a top-four finish at the end of the campaign.
But Saka has been one of the Gunners’ main positives this season with six goals and six assists in 32 appearances so far.
However, Dier believes his England teammate has ‘gone a bit under the radar’ in comparison to other young players in the national side.
‘I’ve spent a lot of time with Bukayo now in the international set-up, I think he’s a fantastic player,’ Dier told Sky Sports.
‘I think he’s gone a bit under the radar, if anything, in terms of what he’s done this season compared to other young English players.
‘He’s a fantastic guy as well, I enjoy a lot spending time with him when we’re with England.
‘When we play [against Arsenal] all of that is irrelevant. I just want to win.’
Saka, meanwhile, admits Arsenal are taking the Europa League ‘really seriously’ following their inconsistent run in the Premier League.
‘The Premier League this season is quite funny,’ the Arsenal winger told Sky Sports.
‘I think we can lose a game and it can all look so bad, but you can also win a game, then another game and another game, you look at the table and you’re much higher up than you were before.
‘Our target is to get some silverware at the end and finish as high up in the Premier League as possible.’
