The Blues have been struggling for form in the Premier League, but will have the distraction of a third round FA Cup clash at the weekend.
Obviously Frank Lampard’s side are the runaway favourites against the League Two side, but the club legend would be under monumental pressure were his team to lose to the underdogs.
With the side searching for their best form, and a big squad at Lampard’s disposal, he is expected to name a reasonably strong side against Morecambe, but there are five youngsters who will be hoping to at least make it onto the bench for the game.
Tino Anjorin, Lewis Bate, Henry Lawrence, and Tino Livramento have all been training with the first team since last week, while Jude Soonsup-Bell also joined in on Wednesday.
Soonsup-Bell is only 16-years-old, but turns 17 on Sunday, the day Chelsea take on Morecambe.
However, he has already caught the eye this season for the Under-18 side, scoring four times in an 8-1 thrashing of Barnsley in the FA Youth Cup in November.
This was the first time in 59 years a Chelsea player had achieved the feat in that competition.
Anjorin has already made three first team appearances, including in the Premier League and Champions League.
