It was a spectacular night for in-form forward, Viktor Gyökeres scoring four goals as Sweden thrash Azerbaijan 6-0 on Tuesday night to finish their Nations League campaign unbeaten.
The hosts took the lead just after 10 minutes of play through Dejan Kulusevski before the Tottenham man laid the assist for Gyökeres’ first of the night to double the lead
Gyökeres scored his second of the night after firing the ball into the bottom corner from a Sebastian Nanasi assist. Kulusevski made it four with his second of the night before Gyökeres scored two more goals to round up a great night for him and Sweden.
The Sporting CP man is currently the hottest striker in the world as this latest goalfest sums up his tally to 58 goals in 54 games in 2024.
