Christian Romero has shown his support for his coach Ange Postecoglu after the loss to Chelsea on Sunday.
The LilyWhites suffered a 4-3 home loss to the Blues despite taking a 2-0 lead.
Dominic Solanke and Dejan Kulusevski gave put the home side ahead ten minutes into the match.
However, Chelsea fought back to secure an impressive comeback win courtesy of Cole Palmer’s brace – two penlaties and a goal each from Jadon Sancho and Enzo Fernandez.
Christian Romero told BBC after the loss that he’s in suppoet of Postecoglu and his staff and admires the style of play.
He also challenged the his teammates to take responsibilities when the team losses.
“Players should be the first one to be criticised, then if we lose 10 games, the staff can be changed. We are very happy with this staff. We love how they work and the football they try to play.”
Heung-Min Son says the players are working to make it right and they need to stick together.
“We all care about where we are now and the results. We do really care about this Club. Everybody is working really hard to get it right. It’s tough. We have to stick together.”
Tottenham are currently 11th on the Premier League log with 20 points after 15 matches.
