Granada CF Femenino secured a 2-1 win against Costa Adeje Tenerife in a closely contested Liga F match at the Ciudad Deportiva del Granada.

The match kicked off with both teams eager to assert dominance. Granada broke the deadlock in the 39th minute when Edna put a ball into the area which slipped through the hands of Noelia Ramos and went into goal, scoring her 12th goal of the season.

Granada doubled their lead in the 50th minute when Ariadna Mingueza managed to escape the Tenerife markers and shot from the edge of the box.

Tenerife got a consolation goal in the 89th minute after a brilliant through ball from Mari Jose left Gift Monday in a one-on-one situation to finish with great skill against Sandra Estevez. The Nigerian continued her fine form and scored her seventh goal in the league competition.
