Pogba’s future at United has been called into question once again after his agent, Mino Raiola, said that the midfielder is unhappy at the club.
During their time together at Old Trafford, Pogba and Mourinho clashed on several occasions with the midfielder even having the vice-captaincy taken away from him.
And Formosinho, who was by Mourinho’s side during their time together at United, has described the World Cup winner as a ‘problem’ in the dressing room.
‘I’m not going to mention names but we had a lot of problems,’ Formosinho told Record.
‘One of which was players who went on a normal holiday and came back… world champions,’ Formosinho told Record.
‘It was very difficult to live in this climate of tension.’
Formosinho also revealed that Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s departure was a key loss in the dressing room.
‘In the last year we lost a great man and leader of the dressing room: Zlatan Ibrahimovic,’ said Formosinho.
‘He was an irreplaceable reference. We really missed him.’
‘We weren’t champions, it’s true, but we won the Europa League, the League Cup, the Super Cup and, in a fight with a Manchester City, who did not fulfil, as proved later, the Financial Fair Play, we were runners-up at a time when, having sporting truth, we would’ve been champions,’ he said.
