Arsenal under Mikel Arteta are ‘one of the best teams in the league’, according to Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa.
The Gunners travel to Elland Road on Sunday where they will be hoping to bounce back from their 3-0 drubbing at the hands of Aston Villa before the international break.
Arteta has worked to make his side more defensively sound since arriving at the Emirates last December, but they have struggled in attack of late.
The north London side have scored just nine league goals this campaign and sit in 11th place in the table after winning just four Premier League matches so far.
Meanwhile, their opponents Leeds have suffered successive 4-1 defeats in their last two league outings.
Speaking ahead of Sunday’s game, Bielsa, who is known for his bold tactical approach, praised his opposite number Arteta’s brand of football and claimed the Gunners are up there with the best in the division.
‘Arsenal are one of the best teams in the league,’ the Argentine boss said.
‘They have a manager who proposes a style which distinguishes the team. He’s a coach who wants his team to play as he projects.
‘From a tactical point of view, if you watch Arsenal closely they show things that I have never seen in any other team.’
He told beIN Sports: ‘At the end of the day, you need them [the players] to perform for you, for the team and for the club, and when the relationships are good, when you have that trust, when you have that empathy, I think everything is much more natural.’
‘When you are able to understand the person behind the football player you can get much more from him, and I think he [Marcelo Bielsa’s] very talented and clever at that, and that’s why he’s able to create the spirit among the team that you can see every week.’
