Leicester City boss Ruud van Nistelrooy has revealed that Super Eagles’ combative midfielder Wilfred Ndidi is not available for the Foxes clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Ndidi has been sidelined since sustaining an injury in Leicester City’s 2-2 draw against Brighton & Hove Albion two weeks ago.
The 28-year-old missed last weekend’s 4-0 defeat at Newcastle United, and his absence was evident as the Foxes struggled to lay a glove on the likes of Bruno Guimares and Sandro Tonali.
Ahead of this weekend’s fixture, Van Nistelrooy stated that the midfielder is working his way back to fitness.
“Wilfred is in his rehab. He’s not on the pitch so he’s not available for selection,” He was quoted by the club’s official website.
The Nigerian has made 16 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring one goal.
