Manchester United has officially unveiled Patrick Dorgu as their latest signing, marking a significant addition to the squad under manager Rúben Amorim.
The 20-year-old Danish-Nigerian left-back joined the Red Devils from Italian Serie A club Lecce on a five-and-a-half-year contract, extending until June 2030, with an option for an additional year.
The transfer deal is valued at £25 million (€30 million), with potential add-ons amounting to £4 million (€5 million) based on performance-related incentives.
Speaking after the unveiling, Dorgu said: “I am incredibly proud to be able to call myself a Manchester United player; this is a very special day for my whole family.
“I cannot wait to work with Ruben Amorim; his vision for this team and the future of the club is incredibly exciting. There is a clear plan set out for my development, and I feel that Manchester United is the perfect place to fulfil my potential and complete my huge ambitions.”
