Manchester United are preparing a take-it-or-leave-it offer for Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho.
The Red Devils will submit an offer for the £108million England international this week as they remain determined to sign the winger before the transfer window closes next Monday.
The 20-year-old is keen on moving to Old Trafford but he’s unwilling to agitate for an exit from the Bundesliga club, which has made negotiations more difficult for United.
United came under huge pressure following their 3-1 defeat to Crystal Palace last weekend to strengthen the squad, with Luke Shaw breaking ranks from within the first team to call on the club to make signings.
While the club have an interest in Porto defender Alex Telles, Sancho remains their priority and Norwegian outlet Dagbladet claims United will submit a new bid for the winger this week.
Dortmund set a deadline of August 10th for United to meet their £108million asking price for Sancho and they’ve insisted ever since that he’s staying at the club.
However, should United come closer to Dortmund’s valuation of the winger then they may still have a chance of landing the midfielder.
The offer is likely to be the final one United make as they will be forced to move on to alternative targets if Dortmund reject their bid.
Andreas Pereira looks set to join Lazio, while Chris Smalling is keen on returning to Roma. With the likes of Sergio Romero, Phil Jones, Marcos Rojo and Jesse Lingard also up for sale, United may have to shift some deadwood before funding a deal for Sancho.
