French football star, Kylian Mbappé recently visited Madame Tussauds in London to unveil his wax statue, expressing admiration for the lifelike representation.
Upon seeing the figure, Mbappé remarked, “Oh wow. I love it, amazing. A new jersey, even the new boots.”
The statue portrays Mbappé in the French national team’s away jersey, striking his signature arms-folded pose. It is set to be unveiled to the public on April 4.
Mbappé, who transferred to Real Madrid last summer, already has a wax figure at the Musée Grévin in Paris.
He expressed pride in being featured at Madame Tussauds, stating, “It’s a big achievement for me, a big honor to be part of the big Madame Tussauds family.”
Madame Tussauds, established in London in 1835 by French wax sculptor Marie Tussaud, is renowned for its lifelike wax figures of prominent personalities.
