Lionel Messi has heaped praises on his teammates after securing back to back victories against Uruguay and Brazil in the March window of the FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Messi says the team keeping “speaking” through their positive results in recent matches for Argentina.
The eight-time FIFA Ballon D’or winner missed out of the the two matches due to injury but shared his thoughts in a post match reaction.
“Inside, outside, wherever it may be with this National Team. Always SPEAKING through football”.
“Congratulations on the great match you played last night and also on the win against Uruguay”.
Argentina defeated Uruguay 1-0 away from home and Brazil 4-1 on Tuesday night to extend their unbeaten run against their rivals to five matches.
Julian Alvarez, Enzo Fernandez, Alexis Macallister and Guiliano Simeone got on the scoresheet as Argentina recorded a comprehensive victory over Brazil.
Argentina also secured qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup aa they look to defend the trophy they won three years ago.
