Zimbabwe’s national football team coach, Michael Nees, has announced a 23-man squad for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Benin and Nigeria.

Notably, former captain Knowledge Musona has come out of international retirement to rejoin the squad.
Musona had stepped back from national duties in May 2022 but was persuaded by Nees to return for these crucial fixtures.
The Warriors are set to host Benin on March 21 at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban, South Africa, due to stadium compliance issues in Zimbabwe.
Following this, they will travel to Uyo, Nigeria, to face the Super Eagles at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium on March 25.
Zimbabwe currently sits at the bottom of Group C with two points from four matches.
