Nigerian football fans have taken to popular social media platform X to express their delight after Super Eagles team B – the CHAN Eagles defeated Ghana to qualify for the 2025 African Nations Championship.
The CHAN Eagles defeated the Black Galaxies of Ghana 3-1 on aggregate on Saturday at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium
The fans praised the resilience and determination of the team as they qualify for the tournament for the first time since 2018.
While some appreciated the boys, others hyped Daniel Ogunmodede and Fidelis Ilechukwu for proving their mettle with the CHAN Eagles.
Fans were delighted that the CHAN Eagles gave the country an end of the year gift at the expense of its eternal rival – Ghana.
