Nottingham Forest failed to record a win for the first time in their last seven matches in the Premier League.

The Tricky Trees were held to a one-all draw courtesy of Diogo Jota’s 66 minute equalizer for Liverpool.

Super Eagles duo Ola Aina and Taiwo Awoniyi were in action on the night although the latter only had a few minutes of action as he came in late in the match.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s men took the lead as early as the 8th minute via a wonderful combination between Anthony Elanga and in-form striker Chris Wood.

However, Sels was eventually breached as Diogo Jota met Konstantinos Tsimikas corner with header to restore parity.

Matz Sels denied Mohammed Salah, Cody Gakpo and Diogo Jota on three occasions each from scoring as the match ended in a frustrating note for the Reds.

Nottingham Forest having played a game more than Arsenal are now second on the log with 41 points.

Liverpool still maintain top spot with 47 points howbeit with a game at hand.
