Kwara United secured a 2-0 victory over Enyimba International FC at the Kwara Sports Complex in Ilorin in Monday evening.
The hosts took an early lead in the 5th minute when Wasiu Alalade successfully converted a penalty, giving the home side a 1-0 advantage.
The team’s momentum continued, and in the 38th minute, Jide Aimufua extended the lead to 2-0. Despite efforts from Enyimba to mount a comeback, Kwara United maintained their lead throughout the match.

This victory brings Kwara United’s total to 26 points, placing them 11th on the table. Enyimba remains in 9th position with 27 points.
