The athlete, celebrated as one of Africa’s most decorated track and field stars, took to X to share the news. “You are everything I prayed for,” she wrote in her post.
Okagbare had a glorious career as a track athlete highlighted by being a 2008 Olympic long jump silver medallist, as well as 2013 world championships long jump silver and 200m bronze medallist.
