Ifeoma Onumonu is settling pretty well for Montpellier in her debut season in the women’s top flight league.
The Super Falcons striker scored twice in Montpellier’s loss to Chiamaka Nnadozie’s Paris FC over the weekend.
Onumonu equalized for the visitors on the 26th minute after French midfielder Maelle Garbino put the home side in front.
Kessya Bussy restored the lead for Paris FC on the 31st minute as she bagged her third goal of the campaign.
Ifeoma Onumonu scored against Nnadozie again for Montpellier with about 11 minute to regulation time to bring the score line to 2-2.
However, Julie Dufour’s brace on the 89th minute and added time put sealed victory for Paris FC on the night.
The victory put Paris FC 4th on the log and they are 5 points behind league leaders Lyon who have 19 points after 7 matches.
Despite the loss, Onumonu’s Montpelier remain 7th on the log witg 10 points in 7 matches.
Onumonu now has 3 goals and an assist in 6 matches for Montpellier this season.
