During a rapid-fire question session, Osimhen was asked which Nigerian dish everyone should try. Without hesitation, he responded, “Amala.” Osimhen, originally from Edo State, said further; “I grew up in the Yoruba land. Not everyone likes this (Amala) but we the Yorubas really love this dish and I think everyone should try it.”
This traditional Nigerian dish, made from yam or cassava flour, is particularly popular among the Yoruba people. Osimhen’s choice underscores his appreciation for Nigerian cuisine and culture.
