In what many would term as a bore fest, Chelsea and Manchester United shared the points between themselves. The first half of the match was largely calm as both teams sized themselves up, and tackled their tactics.
In the second half, the match livened up. Manchester United took the lead from the penalty spot after Robert Sanchez brought down Hojlund in the box. Bruno Fernandes took the penalty and scored to make it 1-0.
Chelsea equalized few minutes later after United failed to clear a corner and the ball fell to Caicedo, who scored from the 20 yards out.
United failed to take their chances, as Garnacho fluffed his lines several times, and Lisandro Martinez escaped a red card for a strong tackle on Cole Palmer.
