Super Eagles of Nigeria star forward Chidera Ejuke has finally started his goal account for Sevilla in the Spanish La Liga.
The 26-year-old scored the game’s winning goal to help Sevilla defeat Real Valladolid 2-1 on Tuesday, September 24, 2024.

Ejuke a second-half substitution inspired his team as Sevilla made it a back-to-back home victories.
Before halftime, Peque Fernandez scored the team’s first goal, but Kike Perez equalized it in minute 56.
Ejuke was on hand to score a late winner in the 85th minute, which was the difference in the closely contested game.
Sevilla goes up to 12th place after picking up three points, while Valladolid falls into the relegation zone.
Ejuke has now participated in six La Liga games in 2024–2025 and has 325 minutes of total playing time.
Throughout their seven games, he has started three of them and has made three substitution appearances.
