Super Eagles-eligible striker George Ilenikhena scored the winner in AS Monaco’s victory away at Auxerre on Saturday night.
The 19-year-old forward came on a second half substitute and plates just 13 minutes but scored the decisive goal on the night.
Japanese midfielder, Takumi Minamino put AS Monaco ahead just before halftime.
The former Liverpool midfielder pounced on a rebound in added time of the the first half as the visitors went into the break with the lead.
Monaco held on to their lead till the 73rd minute until Ghanian defender Mohammed Salisu put the ball into his net to restore parity for the home side.
George Ilenikhena bagged a late winner for Monaco as he got to the end of a brilliant cross into the box before placing a header into the back of the net.
Meanwhile, former Atalanta forward Jeremie Boga scored the only goal as Nice edged Nantes at the Allianz Riviera.
