Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has rubbished speculation surrounding his future, insisting he won’t leave the Turkish champions in January.
Osimhen, on a season-long loan from Napoli, has been linked to bigger European clubs, including the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal, and French giants PSG.
However, the 25-year-old is committed to seeing out his loan spell in Turkey.
“Yes, my contract ends at the end of the season,” Osimhen told Takvim when asked about his future plans.
The Nigerian striker has impressed with four goals and four assists since joining the Turkish side, and his focus remains on improving his game under manager Okan Buruk and winning trophies.
Galatasaray are top of the Turkish league with 28 points from their first 10 games, with a healthy 6-point lead over Samsunspor.
Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce are in third with 20 points.
Osimhen’s reassurance will calm fans’ nerves, but he is unlikely to return to Turkey after this loan spell.
