West Ham are reportedly ready to make a move for Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah as they seek out a replacement for Sebastien Haller in the January transfer window.

Haller sealed a £20million transfer to Ajax this week and David Moyes is planning to reinvest that money into his squad during the remainder of the window.

The club are now drawing up a list of striking targets as they search for a new centre-forward.

Bournemouth attacker Josh King and Stade de Reims star Boulaye Dia are among those being considered.

And Nketiah is also a player they deem to be a decent option to sign, according to the Evening Standard.

Nketiah only has 18 months left on his current deal and West Ham are making enquiries to see if Arsenal will be willing to let him leave.

A loan move could be on the cards, although Arsenal may not be so willing to sanction that with such a short amount of time remaining on his contract.

It is possible that Arsenal would consider a sale, given the England Under-21 international is yet to agree a new deal,

Nketiah has enjoyed game time during the 2020/21 campaign and has scored five goals in 21 appearances for Mikel Arteta’s side this season.

However, he wants assurances over game time and is currently assessing his options.

Arsenal may consider cashing in on him as they look to raise funds to sign a creative midfielder in January.
