3 best options for Osimhen in January

As the January transfer window approaches, speculation continues to swirl around Victor Osimhen’s future.

The Nigerian superstar, currently at Galatasaray on loan from Napoli, has become one of the most sought-after strikers in world football. With his incredible goal-scoring record, physicality, and ability to deliver in high-pressure moments, clubs across Europe are vying for his signature.

Here are the three best options for Osimhen in the upcoming transfer window:

1. Chelsea

Chelsea has struggled to find a reliable striker since the departure of Diego Costa. Despite significant investments in their squad, the Blues have lacked a consistent goal scorer to lead their attack. Osimhen’s arrival at Stamford Bridge could solve this long-standing issue.

Chelsea is rebuilding with a youthful and energetic team under Enzo Maresca and Osimhen could be a great addition to the squad.

The opportunity to become the focal point of Chelsea’s attack and compete in one of the most competitive leagues in the world could appeal to Osimhen.

It can be recalled that Chelsea and Osimhen were involved in a deadline day transfer saga which eventually led to the Nigerian joining Galatasaray on loan.

2. Paris Saint-Germain (PSG)

PSG has emerged as a potential destination for Nigerian superstar Victor Osimhen in the upcoming January transfer window. The French giants are looking to strengthen their attack after the departure of Kylian Mbappe.

Also, Osimhen is no stranger to Ligue 1, having had a stellar season with Lille in 2019/2020, where he scored 18 goals and established himself as one of the most exciting young talents in Europe.

A return to the French league would see him pick up where he left off, but this time on a much larger stage with PSG.

3. Arsenal

Arsenal could be an ideal move for Victor Osimhen as Mikel Arteta’s side looks to solidify their attack and maintain their Premier League title challenge.

Osimhen’s lethal finishing and physical presence would complement Arsenal’s dynamic frontline of Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, and Martin Ødegaard, creating a formidable offensive unit.

While Osimhen has maintained he will like to see out the season with Galatasaray before deciding his next move, football fans worldwide will be watching closely to see where Osimhen’s journey takes him next.
