That result has opened a window of opportunity, and a win against Chelsea could pull City 6 points closer and keep their hopes of mounting pressure in the title race alive.
Much of the focus still falls on Cole Palmer, who faces his former club with confidence and growing influence in Chelsea’s attack. His movement between the lines and ability to create chances in tight spaces make him one of Chelsea’s most important outlets, while the player has been battling series of injurytis season, his availability for the match is still in doubt.
For City, Erling Haaland remains the central threat. He has scored 33 goals for city this season in all competitions, and is currently EPL top scorer this season with 22 goals in 29 matches.
However, the real danger could come from the flanks.
