The Gypsy King once again defeated Deontay Wilder with a knockout in the 11th round to retain his WBC heavyweight title in an action packed bout in Las Vegas.
The fight really got on the way in the third round when Fury dropped Wilder with a big right hand. Wilder legs where unsteady in the fourth but surprisingly got back by dropping Fury to the ground as well but Fury was lucky as the bell rang immediately for him to recover.
The next few rounds had a lot of jabs from both boxers but Fury was obviously ahead on the scorecards and that lead got the doctor to have a check on Wilder before the start of the ninth round. Wilder showed bravery even with Fury’s onslaught throwing some punches as well.
Fury ended it in the eleventh round with a knockout punch that sends Wilder to the ground and he extends his undefeated record to 32 bouts, 31 win and 1 draw. He will be waiting for the winner between AJ and Usyk for a possible undisputed heavyweight champion.
