Detroit Pistons end six game losing streak against LA Lakers

The Detroit Pistons have finally ended their six game losing streak against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Detroit Pistons handed the Los Angeles Lakers their third loss of the season with a convincing 115-103 victory at the Little Ceasars Arena in Michigan.

Jaden Ivey and Tim Hardaway Jr. combined for 45 points as the Pistons recorded their first win over the Lakers after six consecutive losses.

Shooting guard Jaden Ivey had 26 points Hardaway Jr. registered 19 points in the Piaton’s first win on home court this season.

LA Lakers

Cade Cunningham scored his third career triple-double in the victory with 17 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists.

The Lakers had a poor start to the game as the home took an eleven point lead at the end of the first quarter.

JJ Reddick’ s side struggled witt their shooting as they made only 9 two points field goals from 22 attempts while the Pistons made 9 from 15 attempts.

The Pistons comtinued their impressive shooting in the second quarter as they edged the Lakers 34-31 to take they took a 13 point lead into the break.

The Lakers closed the gap in the third quarter as they outscored the Pistons by 8 points going into the final quarter.

Detroit Pistons replicated their first quarter performance in the final quarter as they edged the Lakers 32-26.

Anthony Davies continued his impressive start to the season as the center scored 37 points for the Lakers.

Lebron James had 20 points and 11 assists while Austin Reaves poured in 17 points.

The Lakers will take on Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday morning as they look to bounce back from defeat in Tennessee.
