Alex Iwobi reveals his top 4 Nigerian female musicians

Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi has revelaed his favorites Nigerian female musicians at the moment.

Iwobi made this known in a recent Q and A seasion with a Nigerian journalist.

The Fulham FC attacking midfielder picked veteran songwriter and vocalist, Tiwa Savage as one his top favorites.

Iwobi also expressed his love for Afro Pop singer Simi who his known for her captivating vocals and hit tracks over the years.

Mavin Records queen, Ayra Star also made it to the list. Ayra Star’s music has received international recognition especially since the release of her album this year.

Alex Iwobi concluded that his favorite Nigerian female musician right now is 2025 Grammy-nominee, Tems.

Tems was nominated in three categories in the 2025 Grammy Awards. The singer/songwriter was nominated for the Best R&B song for her record “Burning.”

She was also nominated in the Best Global Music Album for her album “Born in the Wild” as well as the Best African music performance category for her hit single “Love Me Jeje.”

Alex Iwobi, asides being a footballer is also a music artist. He released his second official music single “What’s Luv” last month.
