Paul Pogba has bid an emotional farewell to Juventus fans following the mutual termination of his contract.
In a heartfelt message, the French midfielder expressed gratitude for the unwavering support he received during his time at the club.
Pogba reflected on the challenges of his second stint, including injuries and his recent doping suspension, while also cherishing the fond memories from his earlier years in Turin.
“There are moments when things don’t go the way we want, but one thing is certain: the bond I have with you, dear fans, will remain unforgettable,” he wrote on Instagram. “You have given me so much, more than I can put into words, and I will always carry with me all the affection you gave me. You’ll be in my heart, always.”
His message resonated with supporters who remembered his instrumental role during Juventus’ domestic dominance in his first spell at the club from 2012 to 2016.
Pogba returned to Juve in 2022, but managed just eight Serie A appearances as injury ravaged his first season back before he was given a four-year doping ban, which has since been reduced to 18 months.
With his suspension reduced to 18 months, Pogba is eligible to play again in March 2025 and is expected to explore opportunities in other leagues, possibly in the MLS or Saudi Pro League.
