Super Falcons: Nigeria to battle France in friendly

Head coach Justine Madugu has chosen 20 players for the Super Falcons of Nigeria’s international friendly match against the Les Bleues of France.

These players include forwards Gift Monday and Rinsola Babajide, defenders Osinachi Ohale and Ashleigh Plumptre, midfielders Christy Ucheibe and Jennifer Echegini, and goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie.

The game, which will take place at the Stade Raymond Kopa in Angers, is also open to midfielder Adoo Yina, strikers Mercy Omokwo and Ifeoma Onumonu, American defender Michelle Alozie, and Turkey based Oluwatosin Demehin.

Toni Payne, who is presently with Everton Ladies in England, and Rofiat Imuran and Shukurat Oladipo, who both represented the Falconets in the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia, are also invited.
