Ruben Amorim oversaw his first win as Manchester United manager as they defeated Norwegian champions, Bodo Glimt in a 3-2 thriller at Old Trafford.
United took the lead in the first minute through Alejandro Garnacho who had the goal at his mercy after Rasmus Hojlund dispossessed Bodo Glimt goalkeeper, Nikita Haikin in the 18-yard box.
United lost their lead after the visitors scored twice within four minutes through Hakon Evjen and Phillip Zinckernagel.
Hojlund drew the score level for United on the stroke of half-time after an excellent footwork by Noussair Mazraoui. They restored their lead in the second half after Mason Mount released Manuel Ugarte down the right who in turn squared the ball for Hojlund to score his second of the night with a simple finish into the bottom corner.
It was a good night for Amorim and United as they moved within a point of the automatic qualification places.
