Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has confirmed that the club is making progress in the contract talks with Amad Diallo.
The 39-year-old manager says the contract talks with the Cote D’Ivoire youngstar will be finalised soon.
Amorim also added that the club wants the 22-year-old winger to stay. Likewise, the player also wants to stay with the club.
Amorim made these comments during a press briefing ahead of the clash against Arsenal tonight at the Emirates Stadium.
“We will find a solution, yes”.
“We want Amad to stay, he wants to stay. I think the feeling is now clear”, Amorim added.
Amad Diallo has heen one of Manchester United’s most impressive players so far this season and has proved his importance to the team.
Diallo has scored 3 goals and provided 5 assists across all competitions this season.
The forward has also shown his tactical adaptability as he currently plays as a wing-back in Ruben Amorim 3-4-3 system.
Amad joined Manchester United in 2021 from Atalanta and featured for the youth teams before going on loan to Rangers and Sunderland where he scored 14 goals, provided 3 assists in 34 league matches for the Balck Cats.
