Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen was among the goals as his side, Galatasaray recorded a narrow 3-2 victory against Sivasspor.
The match got off to a blistering start with Sivasspor’s Gary Rodrigues finding the back of the net in the 25th minute before Gala’s midfielder, Yunus Akgun, levelled the playing field with a stunning strike in the 36th minute.
Just before the first half concluded, Osimhen was awarded a penalty in the 45+9th minute, a decisive moment that saw him convert calmly to put his side ahead 2-1.
Galatasaray emerged from the break with more pressure, extending their lead in the 53rd minute through Baris Alper Yilmaz, whose goal made it 3-1 to the visitors.
However, Sivasspor kept their hopes alive, launching a late charge that resulted in another goal from Bekir Turaç Boke in the 90th minute.
Osimhen has now scored 11 goals and three assists in 13 appearances for Galatasaray this season. He will be in action when they face Trabzonspor next week.
