Barcelona secured a huge victory against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
The visitors dominated much of a goalless first half, with Raphinha wasting an opportunity to break the deadlock as he dragged his shot wide after a wonderful cross from Lamine Yamal. Gregor Kobel was also on hand to deny Yamal and Kounde to ensure that all remained squared at half time.
The match came alive in the second half with Raphinha opening the floodgates as he buried his finish past Kobel after he was slipped in by Dani Olmo. Dortmund drew level on the hour mark as Guirassy converted his spot-kick after he was pulled down in the box by Pau Cubarsi.
Substitute, Ferran Torres converted a rebound from a Fermin Lopez shot saved by Kobel to restore Barcelona’s lead. Guirassy equalized again just three minutes later who slid the ball home after a Pascal Groß pass.
Barcelona caught Dortmund on the counter attack as Yamal picked out Torres who drilled home in the 85th minute to ensure all three points for the visitors.
The win puts the Blaugrana in second place while Dortmund drop to ninth.
