Alex Iwobi had quite an impressive performance as Liverpool and Fulham treated fans to pulsating Premier League fixture on Saturday afternoon.

The Super Eagles midfielder played for the entire duration of the match at the Cottagers almost secured maximum points against the Reds.

However, despite playing with a man less for most parts of the match, Arne Slot’s side came from behind twice to earn a point.

Former Manchester United midfielder, Andreas Pereira finds himself on space, picks up a pass and directed a shot which defected pass Alison into the net.

Andrew Robertson made things difficult for his side after he got sent off for a clumsy challenge on a Fulham player.

Fulham held on to the slim lead into the break e en though Marco Silva’s men created chances to double their lead.

However, the home side made them regret the missed chances as Cody Gakpo got on to Mohammed Salah’s cross before planting a header into the net to make it 1-1.

The referee almost ruled out Gakpo’s goal, but a VAR review confirmed it.

The Dutchman has the chance to double the lead moments later but his shot lacked power as Bernd Lenoase a comfortable save.

While Liverpool enjoyed possession despite being a man down, the visitors took advantage of the spaces behind got back into the lead.

Rodrigo Muniz took a one-time touch from Antonee Robinson’s pass to beat Alisosn in goal.

One again, Fulham couldn’t hold on to their lead. Darwin Nunez layed a selfless pass to substitute Diogo Jota who buried the ball into the back of the net with ease to make the scoreline 2-2.

Adam Traore had the clearest chance to seal probably a late winner for the visitors but Alisson positioned himself to make a save.

The match ended 2-2 as the Reds failed to find a winner in nine minutes of added time.
