Enyimba’s winless run across all competitions has clocked nine matches following the goalless draw away at Plateau United.
The Aba Elephants took on the 2017 champions at the New Jos Stadium in a rescheduled Nigeria Premier Football League fixture on Boxing Day.
Enyimba came into the match on the back of suffering a 3-0 loss to Mozambican side Black Bullet in a CAF Confederation Cup group stage match in Maputo on 15 December.
Unfortunately, Enyimba reportesly couldn’t travel back into the country immediately due to lack of funding.
The Aba Elephants showed no no signs of winning against Plateau United as they failed to register a shot on target.
However, Plateau United played better and showed signs of picking maximum points with three shots towards goal.
Unfortunately, the home side were forced to a draw as the match ended goalless.
Enyimba are now winless in nine consecutive matches as pressure continues to mount on coach Yemi Olanrewaju.
Enyimba have three outstanding games but are currently 11th on the log with 23 points after 15 matches.
