Barcelona held to 1-1 draw by Getafe

Getafe responded swiftly, equalizing in the 34th minute. Mauro Arambarri found the net following a sequence that began with a saved volley by Iñaki Peña, leveling the score at 1-1.

The second half saw Barcelona dominate possession but struggle to penetrate Getafe’s disciplined defense. Notably, in the 80th minute, a contentious moment arose when Barcelona’s Jules Koundé appeared to be fouled in the penalty area during a corner. However, referee González Fuertes and the VAR team decided against awarding a penalty.
