Victor Osimhen bagged a brace as champions Galatasaray beat Ibrahim Olawoyin’s Rizespor away from home.
Osimhen was on for the entire duration of the match as Galatasaray bounced back from their humiliating defeat to AZ Alkmaar in the Europa League playoffs first leg.
The Super Eagles top striker gave his side the lead two minutes into the second half after the first ended goalless.
Osimhen got to the end of a cross with a fantastic header to record his 12th league goal of the season.
However, Ali Sowe equalized for the home side eight minutes later as he finished off Babajide Akintola’s pass with a fine strike.
With four minutes to go, Osimhen planted a header from close range to give Galatasaray the winner late in the match.
Galatasaray maintain their six points lead over Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce with the win.
