PSG coach Luis Enrique says his team can overturn the 1-0 loss to Liverpool at the Parc Des Princes on Wednesday night.
Harvey Elliot’s late strike secured Liverpool’s win despite PSG’s dominating display, which saw Alisson Becker make eight stunning saves on the night.
The Brazilian goalkeeper had an outstanding performance on the night as Liverpool survived what would have been an embarrassing loss to the French champions.
PSG registered ten shots on target but couldn’t beat Alisson in between the sticks.
However, Luis Enrique believes that the loss can be overturned at Anfield next week as he praised the performance of his team while speaking to the media after the match.
“I’d be happy to spend the rest of my career at Inter, of course”. “I love this club, I feel great every day here… and I signed a new deal last summer even after receiving many bids”. “I’m very happy and proud to be at Inter.”
Liverpool will host the Parisiens next Tuesday as they look to consolidate their win and progress to he quarter-finals of the competition. PSG crashed out in the semi-finals of the competition last year but face a daunting task ahead of the trip to Anfield next week.
