Ndidi and Leicester fall short in narrow Chelsea defeat

Leicester City suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, with Nigerian midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi in action for Leicester for the whole duration of the match.

The match began with Chelsea asserting dominance, earning a penalty in the 22nd minute after Jadon Sancho was fouled.

However, Cole Palmer’s attempt from the spot was thwarted by Leicester’s keeper, Mads Hermansen, maintaining the deadlock.
